本片为张彻导演，拍于1977年，故事以第二次世界大战日军侵占上海为背景，由狄龙、傅声、姜戴维、刘永、戚冠军及施思六大巨星领衔主演。剧情描述，中国海军力量薄弱，仅有三艘军舰停泊在江阴，难以跟日舰抗衡；为保存战力，参谋部决定暂不与日舰正面作战，而在长江布下水雷，以阻遏敌军内进，另方面特拟出一个进攻计划，将一艘鱼雷快艇伪装成渔船，乘夜驶进上海外滩，企图施以突袭……
