自幼跟随父母在戏班学习，曾在辽西一带红极一时的旦角“张二嫂”张白术。因怒杀落单的日军士兵而被通缉。逃跑中，被中共抗日组织成员救下，进而加入了组织。为掩饰身份，每次执行任务时皆是男扮女装，并以“张二嫂”为代号。为顺利炸毁日军运兵列车，组织派爆破高手苍耳来协助张二嫂。此时，曾被张二嫂重伤的日军情报人员藤野真一带着妹妹藤野赖凌正在大肆搜捕张二嫂。张二嫂的远亲陈皮在一次醉酒后，不慎说出了张白术曾是戏班红极一时的旦角，最善反串。藤野真一根据陈皮的描述，怀疑张白术就是张二嫂，迅速带人前去围捕。毫不知情的张二嫂陷入重重包围之中。前来与张二嫂接头的爆破高手苍耳见他陷入日军的包围，决定孤身营救。
