　　卡嘉（黛安·克鲁格 Diane Kruger 饰）曾经有一个非常幸福的家庭，然而，一场可怕的恐怖袭击让她在瞬间失去了丈夫奴里（努曼·阿卡尔 Numan Acar 饰）和年幼孩子。爆炸的始作俑者是一对“新纳粹分子”情侣艾达（汉娜·希尔斯多夫 Hanna Hilsdorf 饰）和安德烈（乌尔里奇·布兰德霍夫 Ulrich Brandhoff 饰），两人很快就遭到了逮捕等待庭审。　　在庭审中，艾达和安德烈的律师指出卡嘉夫妇曾经参与过贩毒活动，同时他们自己也曾经吸食过毒品，这一劣迹的曝光直接影响了法官对案情的判断，最终，这对情侣因为证据不足而被无罪释放。悲愤和绝望之中，卡嘉决定通过自己的双手来为家人们报仇。
